The Burning Season

Here we are reveling in the deep, gorgeous colours that and English Autumn brings. In this picture, we had just finished crooning along with the Egerton Folk Club at the Mundy Bois pub in haunted Pluckley.

October has been pleasantly mild. We spent most of yesterday outside and half-naked (in the privacy of our back garden, of course!) One of my favourite aspects of Autumn is the low-angle sun. So magical. So atmospheric. The burning evenings and colours take me far into my childhood days.

Happy Autumn.

Those red leaves are amazing and beautiful. Sounds like you guys have lots of fun there.
When are you guys moving back?

What a perfect picture. Autumn is definately magical. Utah is most beautiful in the fall (if you ask me anyways) but it sounds like England is absolute heaven right now too.
ps. what the heck does crooning mean? dancing, singing, maybe a little of both???

Amber - we're moving back this December/January!

Ash - crooning means "to sing or talk in a sweet low voice full of emotion". I agree: Utah is at its best during Autumn. England does have a beautiful fall, but nothing like Utah.

Brianna - thanks, love!

Hey Brit- I just realized I never got back to you about that campground in Moab. I read your comment and ment to reply but sometimes I don't have brains and I guess I spaced it. Sorry. Anyways, I'll email you the link. Be watching for it. Are you planning some adventures for your return to your native land?
